La Ruta se va al Caribe...
Hoy lunes 7 de mayo cuando se
cuelgue este post, estaré volando a Puerto Rico para hacer una serie de presentaciones
además de un salto a San Francisco porque el día 25 ofreceré un concierto
organizado por La Bohemia S.F. en el Brava Theater Center, en el que tendré
el inmenso privilegio de tocar con John Santos, artista inmenso y
hermano.
En esta ocasión, “La ruta”
pasará por los senderos del caribe boricua, con la colaboración de grandes
amigos de esa tierra tan rica en tradiciones y conectada con esos ríos que
vienen del medio oriente, el mediterráneo y el áfrica sub-sahariana.
En la parte musical, Ricardo Pons,
maestro infinito, con quién hice el trabajo “Buscando la esquina”, Giselle
Solís, guitarrista, compositora a quien produje musicalmente su primer disco,
Pascual Flores, maestro espiritual, gran conocedor de la bomba puertorriqueña
y en la parte visual, Loredana Hernández y Oshanlá Asere. Todo esto con
el apoyo logístico de la imprescindible Wanda Pacheco y la supervisión
“skypeana” de mi queridísimo David Arenal, director visual de este proyecto.
Intentando crear fuentes de
financiación para seguir el camino, el 26, 27 y 28 de marzo del 2012 grabé en
Cezanne producciones con Javier Monteverde, un disco en directo con 14
canciones mías al que titulé “Momento”. David filmó todos los temas a tres
cámaras con la intención de sacar en una próxima edición el CD con el
DVD. Recoge justo el riesgo del instante, el valor único de lo
irrepetible. Creo que es un pequeño documento de lo que soy aquí y ahora, con
los defectos y las virtudes que eso implica. Espero les guste y lo puedan
obtener ya sea online o en los conciertos, así de alguna manera estarán
apoyándonos para poder seguir en “La ruta de las almas”. Acá les dejo una
pequeña muestra de ese “Momento”.

The Road is going to the Caribbean....
Today, 7th May, when this post
will be on line, I will be flying to Puerto Rico to make some presentations
as well as a jump to San Francisco, because on the 25th, I will
offer a concert organized by La Bohemia S.F in the Brava Theatre Centre, in
which I will have the huge privilege to play with John Santos, great artist
and brother.
During this opportunity, The Road will go
through the tracks of the Boricua Caribbean, with the collaboration of great
friends of this earth so rich in traditions and connected with those rivers
which are coming from the Middle East, the Mediterranean countries and the
Africa sub-Saharian
In the musical part, Ricardo Pons, greatest
Maestro, with who I made the work BUSCANDO LA ESQUINA, Giselle Solis,
guitarist and composer to whom I musically produce her first album.
Pascual Flores, spiritual master, great
connoisseur of the Bomba from Puerto Rico and in the visual part Loredana
Hernandez and Oshanka Asere. All that
with the help of Wanda Pacheco and the supervision Skypeana of my dearest
David Arenal, visual director of this project.
With the intention to find sources of
financiering to continue the way, on the 26,27 and 28th of March
2012 I recorded in Cezanne Producciones with Javier Monteverde, an album in
direct with my 14 songs entitled MOMENTO. David filmed all the themes with
three cameras with the intention to have it very soon edited in one CD with
the DVD taking the risk of the moment, the unique value of the unrepeatable.
I believe that it is a small document of what I am here and now, with the
imperfections and the virtues implicated.
I hope you will like it and you can obtain it
online or during the concerts, in this way you will help us to continue on
THE ROAD OF THE SOULS.
